If the dress has never been worn, say you cancelled your wedding, they still consider that dress sized for you and it would be considered new but not like a gown you would purchase in bridal shop. You can call around. Look in your yellow pages. If it is used, then then you need to find a shop that sells upscale designer used clothing where they buy it outright from you or you place it on consignment for a specific amount of money. They get half the amount it sells for. Or, sell it on ebay. They go like hotcakes unless you want tons of money for the dress.

The only places I know of that would be a wedding dress would be ebay or a consignment shop.

There was just a Bride asking to rent one in theirs area. Some of my past Brides have rented theirs from a place on Main Street in Flushing. Perhaps they buy them too?
