First off, I'm not a millionaire. I make almost three hundred every two weeks hostessing &I want to go on a trip to Vegas to surprise my best friend. I don't even know where to start. I still don't know if I'm going alone or not, so I'm not sure what to add up yet. I've been looking up flight/hotel/car packages on Expedia.com estimating how many people are going. I don't even know what I'm asking right now, I just need help planning this trip &finding the CHEAPEST pricest. I want to go in June, &that's about a month away. Help?!

OH!! &how can I make extra money on the side? No nasty stuff, guys. ;]

Scratch the car thing. You have to be twenty-five to rent one, &I'm eighteen. Crap.

Awesome answers, guys. You rule. Now .. since most hotels in Vegas only allow twenty-one year olds to check out hotels, are there any that allow eighteen year olds? I don't know how to find one.

First browse all of your options of places to get flight tickets.I like cheap tickets.com.Start saving majorly. You may need to take the trip later in the year,so you have more money.Dont go out to eat everynight. You can babysit, house work for the elderly, get another job just for the trip and since you know you can live off of $300 put all the money from other sources away.Have a great time!!

You could call a travel agent. The advantage would be that they've done this a thousand times before. The disadvantage is that there would probably be a small fee. Not sure if maybe the agent would get their fee from the airline.

If you want to do it yourself, then you just have to use a site like Expedia and start making some decisions and committments. You could also look at Yahoo travel. There are always a lot of options when traveling.

The earlier you book your flight, the cheaper it will be. Prices go up as you get closer to travel time. It used to be that fares ordered 3 weeks or more in advance were cheaper, but the programs keep changing.

If you are a member of American Automobile Club, their card may give you discounts on rental cars and some hotels. And they also have a travel agency that could help. If you are a member there, they will also give you maps, tour books, etc.
