find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (beans, soy products, fish) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Theoretically losing weight is due to a simple equation - Energy out must be more than energy in. If you are exercising and not losing weight then the only reason can be that there is simply too much going in. Being a vegetarian does not mean that you will automatically be thin because I now a number of fat vegetarians. You need to decrease you calorie intake more and look at what you are eating. Cut down on cheese, bread, junk food (you do get vegetarian burgers and pizzas) and try eat a healthy vegetarian diet. The thing is I have never met a fat vegan.

Low carb is the way to go. Just eat vegetables that don't contain alot of sugar(Carrots, potatoes beets, etc.) Also, no rice, pasta, etc. I'd tell you to eat meat or poultry but you're a vegetarian. Do you eat eggs? Increase your intake of these. How about dairy products like cottage cheese? Try low fat versions of these. Read labels. If something contains more than 3 grams of sugar in it then don't eat it! In the last 4 days i lost 4 pounds eating this way. Hurray! Get the book "Sugar Busters", or try Kimkins(on the net). You will no doubt go into what they call Ketosis, which is the dieters friend. You will be burning your own fat for energy and it suppresses your appetite...and you will feel more energised. Put together your favourite veggie recipes and keep those veggies on hand. Hope this helps! P.S. Get your thyroid checked...a low thyroid causes weight gain.

If you're exercising at 300 pounds, I would say definitely look into your diet. Are you eating enough? Check with a doctor so he or she can run the proper tests to see if there may be thyroid issues. I wish you the best.

I agree with the comments above, make sure that you eat healthy and cut down on calories.

Also, change up your routine every once in a while. If you've been doing the same routine for a long time, try different things, because your body gets used to one thing, and the routine becomes ineffective.

Get your thyroid checked out. If that's not working properly, no matter what you do you'll never drop the weight. I'd also see a nutritionist to help you come up with a meal plan.

First, regardless of the indisputable fact that it is unrelated on your concern, you may not calculate energy burned such as you are trying to. whilst a chart says that an workout burns a million calorie, it rather is usually talking related to the precise scientific definition of calorie. yet whilst a nutrition merchandise is declared to comprise a million calorie, it rather is shorthand for a kilocalory (i.e. one thousand genuine energy). the load loss funds in on workout isn't touching directly to the quantity you burn on the time of the workout. yet somewhat, it rather is led to by way of the actuality that workout will improve your resting metabolism and muscle tissues. So, because of the fact which you exercize at lunch to illustrate, your physique burns greater energy all day jointly as you're doing different issues. 2d, you're at a healthy weight on your height. you need to thoroughly lose some pounds as a be counted of private determination. yet once you get down under one 0 five, it ought to start to be undesirable. i wish you will save this in concepts as you artwork in this. Now, to respond to your question: the two there is a few form of somewhat uncommon scientific condition in contact, or you're (like maximum folk) making a pretty erroneous checklist of energy consumed. i choose to recommend (in case you're actually not already doing this) which you precisely degree what you're ingesting for some days. Then calculate the energy by way of looking out precisely what share "solid" servings of each and every nutrition you're ingesting, and multiplying this by way of the energy according to serving. be effective to comprise any snacks or "only one piece of chocolate" sort issues. in case you come across which you somewhat are in basic terms ingesting 1300 energy according to day, and you somewhat are working and cycling 2 hours according to day, then you definately could see a physician to work out what must be happening. because of the fact there could be some form of scientific reason in contact. maximum people who workout that lots can consume plenty greater desirable than 1300 energy (even at your height) and nevertheless be very trim.

Try getting Dr Schwarbein's books. My doctor swears by them and her. One of the first things you'll learn is that as healthy as being vegetarian sounds, it can wreak havoc with your metabolism. She explains it well and gives case examples from patients she's dealt with.
