Remember muscles ways more than fat so if you are muscular please disguard this. I was taught that a good way to see how much you should way is to use your height since you are in the 5 foot area start with the number 100. THen multiply 5 by how ever many inches are behind the five. So since you are 5'2 multiply 5 times 2 = 10. Then add the 100 to that number so you should way 110. Only use this numer as a general rule becuase muscle does way a lot more than fat. Consult your doctor or a fitness instructor for more details. To loose weight just cut back on the amount of calories you eat a day. Dont starve yourself. Exercise such as walking daily will greatly help. Just be careful and remember that are nutrietien experents that love to help people.

There's no easy way. It's all about discipline.

You must change your eating habits and incorporate exercise into your lifestyle. You can start by drinking lots of water, changing over to mostly vegetables, fruits, and lean protein in reasonable portions, and eating several small meals a day instead of 3 large meals. Always eat breakfast, this helps kick-start your metabolism for the day.

Begin exercise with walking. Walk briskly and add more distance every day. Add weight training - small weights at first so you don't hurt yourself. Or join a gym - the trainers there can help you with a routine that is just right for you.

Please talk to your doctor, though, to make sure there aren't any health concerns that would prevent you from exercising.

First of all to the guy who just rudely insulted you, she knows she's overweight, and she doesn't need your horribly degrading comments. Second of all, I know of a really good program that WILL help you if you follow it exactly. It's not TOO strict and it definity will work. My mom had trouble losing weight for years, and she lost around 100 pounds in two years. It's staying off too, and it's not one of those dumb fad diets that help you lose the weight, but are ready to accept you again once you gained it back.
It's called 'The Ultimate Weight Solution', and it's written by Dr. Phil McGraw. If you're a teen, you could use 'The Ultimate Weight Solution for Teens' by Dr. Phil's son Jay McGraw, although I don't know if it's as effective as the first one
GOOD LUCK!

Me too, your not huge, your just overweight.
First of all stop demeaning yourself you can lose weight by eating less and exercising at least 30 minutes a day 5 times a week.. this doesn't mean going to a gym just take a good walk at a moderate rate of speed. And dont' expect to lose 60 lbs in 6 months it will take awhile to get into new eating habits and exercise regime. for me I started exercising first until I am now in the habit taking 30 minutes out of my day ...I do not diet on weekends I just enjoy whatever foods that come to me.. I diet 5 days a week just eating less this takes longer but in the long run it develops lifetime habits instead of fad diets that you tired of after a few months.

There is this site http://www.mypyramid.gov/ - they have diet and exercise plans for FREE to help you with your specific needs. Rapid loss is is never a good idea and you usually gain it back and then some. Pills and mixes are also a bad idea because they are stimulant based and once you stop taking them you will have difficulty staying thin. A sensible life plan is the best option and since this one is FREE all the better. Good Luck!

That's a lot of weight for a person your height. Eat on salad size plates. Eat more veggies, less meat. Eat more fiber food such as beans, oatmeal, fish. Baked not fried. Exercise. Walk, lift weights. Drink lots of water, no soda it has no real value. It just pumps you up more.

losing weight is not that simple. first off. rule #1 dont eat anything after 7 pm. no junk food snacks! then try the calorie counting method. and exercise regularly. most important, dont quit. it take s time to lose weight properly and you have to be patient...there are no good overnight results!

You should probably consult your physician first to make sure that you don't have any other physical complications first. Go on a sensible plan rather than a fad or crash diet. Good luck to you. Be healthy and happy.

It really depends on your frame....

If you are "big bones" I would say no...
Do you have an hour glass shape?

Drink lots of water it actually flushes fat and at night try to eat 2 oranges...
I am not sure why it works but it does for me....

i am sorry to say this but you are overweight. what matters is if you are healthy and happy with yourself. you should eat more healthy and stay away from oily/fatty foods. try eating steamed veggies and stay active. run or participate in sports.
