It's pretty complicated, but just trust me...
I think I hurt my mom's feelings this morning, by not going to church... That in itself is a complicated issue, that I don't really want to talk about right now, but I think it made her sad, even though she didn't even ask me to go. We actually sort of celibrated Mother's Day yesterday, because someone invited her and my dad to an Aniversary party today, but I still feel guilty. I want to make it up to her... any ideas?

From now on go with her to church every Mothers day and make it a special thing between the two of you you won't regret it when she's no longer with you and it will comfort you knowing you did this for her as well as yourself.

even though you kind of celebrated yesterday, today is the actuall day and every mom wants to be aknowledged. she may not have asked you to go to church in the hopes that you would go just b/c it's mother's day. really, she shouldn't have to ask. if we have to ask for what we want, it isn't special. do you know what i mean? have some coffee and rolls or something waiting for her when she gets home from church. clean the kitchen for her. make the beds. anything to let her know that you're thinking about her.

Write her a lovely message in a card or when they go to anniversary, clean up the kitchen or do laundry or something she always does. OR just go up to her and give her a hug and say what you just wrote about how you feel guilty now. She loves you.

I would have flowers and a card ready for when she comes home from the party...and clean up the house...to show her you understand all the hardwork she does!

Make a cake or cupcakes or cook her dinner and make a card and write her a poem,
tell her how much you appreciate her. :) That's very nice. she will love it.
