You can either walk up the mountain or go by train.
How high the train goes up depends on weather and as mentioned any works being carried out.
I checked the site and it is currently stopping at the second staion (There are 3 altogether) which is about 2/3 up. If you can manage the last bit by foot it is worth it for a great view. If it is cloudy don't bother. You won't see a thing and it will be a wasted walk.
If you really fancy you can walk the whole lot. Or go up by train and down by foot. Prices will depend on what journey(s) you make but walking is free!
For more info see the website.

You mean Snowdon (Snowdonia is the name of the National Park).

At the moment they are rebuilding the railway station at the top of Snowdon, so the train is not operating.

Snowdon is a very easy walk though. Just wear tough boots and take a warm coat just in case.

yes you can its about £12 each one way, and you need to be fit to walk down it. So if your not book a return journey prob about £18 each. The journey on the train takes about 30-40 mins to go up, and the walk back down took us about 2-3 hours, brisk walking, and u are completely secluded, its rocky and wet and there is no end in sight, your legs are like jelly by the time you get to the bottom. Its an experiance though. Dont wear clothes that will soak water up, and good boots are essential.

Yes you can go up the mountain, I won't keep you in the dark,
For there is nice rack railway there, in Snowdonia National Park.
The track starts at Llanberis, goes to Y Wyddfa peak I ken.
You must agree with me that..

we paid £30 for 2 of us to go up snowdon by train at easter. the train stopped at the station before the top due to building works. we were in dense cloud it was wet and cold .the view on the way up, before the cloud swamped us was beautiful. i suggest you choose a really sunny clear day and walk up. the little train by llanberis lake is also expensive. better to take a walk.
