Get some Neutrogena T-gel, shampoo hair and rinse, then reapply shampoo and leave on for 10 minutes. Then rinse. Make sure you keep the 2nd application on for 10 minutes. It really works.

here are some ways at home that you can do to get rid of dandruff:
Home remedies
There are tons of home brew dandruff cures out there, every family likely knows of a different one that they will swear by to cure dandruff. Here I’ll list some of the most commonly recommended concoctions.
Hawiian Tea Tree LeavesTea tree oil
Tea tree oil has an anti-fungal quality and can be mixed into lotions, oils and shampoos. Massage the mixture into the scalp and let it sit for 15 minutes prior to rinsing clean.
Coneflower and red clover extracts
Aveda has a product named “Scalp Remedy” that is growing in popularity. It contains both coneflower and red clover extracts, comes with a dropper and is applied directly to the scalp after you shower.
Oil soaks
Scalp massages with moisturizing oils an hour or so before bathing are said to rejuvenate a dry scalp. Skin lotions will likely work as well.
Vinegar rinses
Some people have reported success after rinsing their hair with white or apple cider vinegar prior to bathing. It may have something to do with correcting your hair’s PH balance.

Head and shoulders causes more danduff, selson blue causes hair loss, try using some oils on your hair, like jojoba oil, emu oil, or olive oil, those will heal the scalp and also get your hair in great condition,

Are you sure that it is dandruff and not dry skin? Because I am suffering from a lot of flakes and I have vvery good hygene. It has to be the weather. Whatever you do, don't use head and shoulders. Dries your hair out. Go to a nutritional store and get it there. Hope this helps.

ok, this will definitely sound like an old house wife remedy, but it actually works.
I have had dandruff problems ever since i was little.
this works, so you take a half-cup of mayonaise, an egg, and 1/4 cup o vinegar. mix it together in a bowl then put it in your hair, and like wrap a towel around your head and let the stuff sit in your hair for about a half hour.
This softens and moisurizes your scalp, as to prevent danruff. do it once a week or so, and you should be good!!!!!!

yes but I don't know if you're a women of color or not..either way try "greasing" aka "oiling" bka putting hair grease through your scalp..what that does is it oils your scalp and keeps it moisturized..bc dandriff is flakes of dry scalp...umm i suggest i think its called pink lusters oil, or theres thousands more..like i said if ur not a woman of color just go into a beauty supply like sallys and explain the situation and they will be more than happy to help!!hope u take my advice!

Take cooler showers and don't use as much styling product. And Selsun Blue DOES work.
