who was the firest to sing the song "my girl"
i got the The Temptations singing it
and Otis Redding singing it and even Prince Buster doing a ska variation but who is the original and if you got more variations please tell me i love hearing the same songs from different performers, got 38 variations of amazing grace and all covers on the beatles i can find. lol

Any song that seems to cross genres and generations were almost everyone knows the lyrics but may not know the artist. I just saw a live performance of Breakdown by Tom Petty and I don't think he sang more than the first verse, the crowd took it away. He even said somthing about them "putting him out of a job" cause the whole crowd didn't miss a beat.

The Temptations. I am sure about that. Okay, maybe it WAS the Four Tops. I am now not so sure. One of those two. for sure. I am really sure it was one of those two. Honest. One of the Motown greats. yup. for sure.

I thought it was the Four Tops, with little Micheal. He's the most famous for it anyways, or maybe that's just what I think.
