No, they cannot agree that Christians are right about anything as they live in a one-dimensional world that relies solely on facts, nothing else. Its rather sad.
I have gotten a few best answers from a few atheists, but what I notice most is that they often pick an answer that is more of a putdown to believers than their original question no matter how awful or even nasty it is.

That's what happens when you Christians discriminate minorities for too long.
There will be a day we will start to talk back. There is nothing you can do to stop that, sorry.
I'm an atheist, but I'm not an atheist of the minorities, I grew up in an atheistic country. So, I don't lower myself to hollow attacks and mean talks. I also, just like you, think sometimes it goes a bit too far.
However, I can understand the sometimes too vocal atheists on this website. It's only natural behavior.
When the women's right movement started, they were also way too vocal at the start, which was also only natural. It caused equal rights for men and women in the end.
Look at history, and you will see that every suppressed minority will be too vocal and not very nice when they start to talk back at the start. Someday it will all soften up. Until then, I think atheists have every right to step over the line a little bit.
Sadly enough many Christians fail to see that it's nothing personal. I'm white, I'm male. I never took the women's right movement or the black rights movement personal. I understood them, and I agreed with them.
I wish Christians would bring a little more understand to what happens to a group when they have been discriminated against for too long.

I definatly agree that is does seem to go both ways in here...but what I find most interesting is that it's true how many Atheists complain endlessly about Christians "forcing" their beliefs on others...but then they do the same.
Saying it's all a lie, calling God a fairytale or the flying man in the sky...is also trying to get others to view things as they do.
It is a double standard, and when they say to "leave" the government alone..then they are suggesting that only atheists or those of a different religion have a right to be in government or ask for their rights to the government....so how is that any different?

I just looked for the first prayer request under resolved questions, and there isn't a single insulting answer. This is despite the fact that a prayer request is not a question. Often when an atheist posts something that isn't a clearly defined question it's reported and deleted within a few minutes.

"American Atheist" said it right. For the most part, Christians or any other religious folk are alright with me. The problem is, Christians are notoriously trying to take over the US Government.
The 1st Amendment, besides prescribing "Free Speech" also says "Congress shall make NO LAW establishing a religion, or prohibiting the exercise thereof.
Simply put, get your religion out of our secular government and we'll stop picking on you. People who believe in an "invisible cloud being" that tells them what to do should stay as far away from managing ANYTHING as possible.
So no, Christians can't do anything right so long as they forgo their power of reason to execute the will of little voices in their heads and try to have some control over how my government works.
Sing songs, bake cookies, pray to yourself, but leave the rest of us alone. Jesus died because he was a rabble rouser who pissed off the local authorities by disrespecting the religious order and government in place at the time, and smashing up their currency exchange. It had nothing to do with your sins, or my human errors.

Well if someone comes in stating that being gay was not a choice for them 10 or so christians will come in and tell them they are an abomination and that is was a choice.
If someone asks about a mostly peaceful religions/philosophies such as paganism , wicca, witchcraft or even buddhism for crying out loud, I see christians bombarding in on the question with "thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" and "witches deserve death"
It works boths ways here. I see people where they don't "belong" all of the time.

There are always two sides to a story and I myself was for a long part of my life an Atheist and so I know the frustration of not getting satisfactory and complete answers to questions, what I did not realize then was that when people accept Christ and are blest with the gift of faith then they no longer ask and so many questions but peacefully accept what is and is not.
I also can understand the anger and sometimes venom of unbelievers and I have to make an effort not to be insulted but try to accept that this is how it is.

As an atheist I by no ability conception everyone on his words. Scientists have the skill to grant us somewhat more beneficial, this is stated as information. meaning it has a predictable result contained in the real international. meaning it will be utilized to our advantages. "Londron: That information will be fallacious... did you no longer study the position i discussed that? What a scientist BELIEVES is information of a theory, will be something thoroughly unrelated to what he's attempting to prepare. an effortless miscalculation the following and there, an effortless oversight, an danger free mistake, a misinterperetation, and so on." Parachutes, pcs, sparkling water, the nutrition 30+% of the international is ingesting in the present day, cell telephones and so on. nevertheless artwork although if each and every scientist because the starting up of time become incorrect on electricity. although if our expertise is inaccurate on evolution we nevertheless breed new styles of plants, each and every consisting of his own flavor and vitamines in it. to draw close evolution occurs we do not even choose an evidence of chromosomes, dna and so fort. We basically see we earnings on it contained in the real international. bottom line is, it nevertheless bloody works. would not remember in the adventure that they are incorrect on small documents. as long as i will get my vehicle to force me to artwork the subsequent morning, although if the vehicle-mechanics are incorrect on issues. also, in case you doubt scientist for interpreting basic documents that has worked contained in the real international 1000000000 cases earlier why are you trusting adult men of religion to inform you what age previous textual content advise in in the present day's international? They could also misread the words of your particular God.

Well prayer requests are not in line with the TOS to use this site, so frankly asking for them is rude.
And if the question was honestly answered, sorry if you don't like the answers that you get. Perhaps you should find a forum that isn't open to diverse opinions so that you can sit back and have people tell you exactly what you want to hear.

The moment the Christians leave OUR government alone (in the US), and stop trying to make this "One nation under God", is the moment that I will back off. Until then, I will do everything in my power to keep creationism out of the public school science curriculum, the 10 commandments out of our government buildings and forced time for prayers out of our schools.
