The people rejected the Lord God their King. On the Cross as Jesus died he told us "It is finished", the curtain in the temple ripped open revealing that the Arc of the covenant was not there and the New Covenant, through the Mosiach, the Messiah, the Annointed One, the Christ became the Law.

The people honored God with their lips, pretending to others that they kept the Law of the Torah and the Holy Days while they rejected the Lord God.

There is no glory to God when people keep the Holy Days to lift themselves up in the eyes of their neighbor so there is no reason to keep the Holy Days, they have become a perversion of Faith, an unclean sacrifice to God.

at the start, no person, not even the excellent human beings in this communicate board, has the right to enable you recognize you're a foul Jew. incredibly, i don't have self assurance there is any such difficulty. There are bored Jews, ignorant Jews, lazy Jews and non-practising Jews, yet none of those are undesirable Jews. (possibly in case you ripped off some billion money from some thousand investors, we would call you a foul Jew). the main necessary difficulty approximately being Jewish is to objective a touch extra as we talk than you probably did the day previous. which skill, save getting to grasp somewhat. attempt do yet another solid deed each and every day or maybe each and each month. that is Chanukah top now, attempt mild some Chanukah candles. Use the internet to study extra approximately your Judaism. don't get hung up relating to the Batmitzvah, that is not a make-it-or-harm-it for being Jewish. What i could advise is looking a Temple that doesn't base itself on paying individuals. Judaism shouldn't comprise a cost. i'm particular, in case you seem around, you will hit upon a Temple (shul) that doesn't can charge for club. you will probable additionally discover that the rabbi and rebbetzin there will be friendly and approachable. solid luck!

I've never heard anyone say He was wrong for celebrating the Jewish holidays. He was a Jew and those holidays were ordained by God to be celebrated at that time.

The Feast of Passover was fulfilled at the Cross.

The Feast of First Fruits was fulfilled at His Resurrection.

The Feast of Pentecost was fulfilled at His Anointing in Heaven when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the Apostles in the book of Acts.

The Feast of Trumpets was fulfilled by the Great Awakening which occurred in the late 1700's through the early 1800's.

The Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur is being fulfilled NOW in the Day of Judgment.

The shadow (the Jewish holidays) has met the substance (Christ's work on our behalf) and for that reason Christians no longer required to celebrate the holidays Jesus celebrated.

Early Christianity shed itself of anything resembling Judaism.

Interestingly -
In the messianic times, the leaders of the nations will come to Jerusalem each year to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) with the Jews.

Christians SHOULD celebrate Jewish holidays! (most of them anyway) They're great and have great meanings!!

There are some holidays that we don't need to celebrate because they are there so that they can have their year's sins forgiven - and as Christians, we don't need to do that because Jesus came to forgive our sins!!

But yes, Christians should celebrate Jewish holidays :)

Excuse me? I am a Christian, and I do
celebrate the Biblical holidays. Passover is
not just for "jews" - who was Christian if not for Christ Himself? He celebrated Passover, and so do I.
Any Christian who celebrates "easter" is not a Christian - they just think they are a Christian. Its an insult to the very blood shed by Christ that on the highest, most sacred day of Christianity you see them out there on the church lawns rolling eggs.
Blatently insulting.

Jesus is fictional, merely a mish mash of prior religions, stop talking like he was flesh and blood, he's just a 2000 year old Harry Potter.
