No, all of my great grandparents had passed away before I was born. I wish i would have known them. While growing up, i only had 1 grandmother. I often asked her questions about her parents, or asked her to tell me interesting stories about them that i later jotted down into a small book. My children have read those stories numerous times. The stories are a part of our family history and my children actually find the stories more fun and interesting to read then if they were to look at the family tree.

I didn't get to know any of my grandparents although I have 7 soon to be 8 kids who all know both of their grandmothers.
One is 92 and in an old persons home. We don't visit offen enough but still they know her.
My other grandmother is 90 and still lives in her own home grows all her own veggies, bread etc
She is full of life and my children know her very well.
They have love & respect for her and listen to what ever she has to say.

Yes I did know my great grandma. she was really old and neat she died of heart attack in the 60's. I didn't talk to her to much because she was a person who was old fashioned and liked boys better then girls ( was a girl) and therefore it wasn't very close relationship. but she was a nice old lady.she was born in germania.

I knew my step-great grandmother but she died last year. I knew my dad's grandmother, but she had Alzheimer's because she was stressed out from the Great Depression, so she didn't know me.
