1 Corinthians 2:14 - "For the natural (UNSPIRITUAL) man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, neither can he know them, because they are 'SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED."
The carnal nature is dead to spiritual things and so cannot perceive spiritual truth. That is why everyone who denies the divinity of Christ is blind to who He really is. It takes salvation
which begins with sorrow for sin, repentance, asking God's forgiveness (which only can come through the sacrifice of a perfect being - Jesus Christ) and receiving by faith spiritual eyesight for the first time in your life. This results in loving God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength as the Bible says and devotion and service to Him from that moment and through all eternity.
Paul said, If any man preach any other gospel unto you but that which I have preached let him be "anathema" which means accursed. Not cursed by Paul or any other man, but cursed by God because that person is teaching against God and Christ. Paul's words are straight from the throne of God and Holy Spirit directed - not the mere words of a man. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God." - II Timothy 3:16-17
Those who choose any other way to gain God's favor are doomed to die in their sins according to scripture. There is not one person here who cannot make the choice to receive or reject the Bible as God's word. That choice, which also includes rejecting Christ as the only sacrifice for sin is what will send people to eternal punishment. IF YOU REJECT IT
you will see after death whether it is right or not - IF YOU BELIEVE IT WITH ALL YOUR HEART - you will "know" deep within your being that it is true.
This choice is a personal thing between every individual and God. Christians are only the messengers bringing this truth to everyone we can before it is eternally too late.
THE GOSPEL IS AN "OFFENSE" TO THOSE WHO PERISH, but to us that believe it is the power of God unto salvation.

I feel that I am closer to God than those who pray through Jesus, because I have a direct relationship with God. I never believed that the Lamb of God was God. That is why I am Muslim and not Christian.
I know my view will not be popular with many here, but that is what freedom of religion is all about. God bless.

Jesus instructed his followers to pray to the Father in his name....so to pray to the father is approriate.
the Father is the God identified in the old testament. Jesus is the ( spirit) son of God who was sent by the father God to redeem mankind from sin. As a prince is royal like his father, Jesus is divine like his Father.
Muslims have their own God, and are at odds with the God of Israel.,,so, they are not close to Him.

Jesus is not "equal to God". Jesus IS God. The Father IS God. The Holy Spirit IS God. They are equal to one another. For more details, read this:

the two have self assurance interior the God of Abraham yet have self assurance thoroughly particularly some issues approximately that god. the two think of they have the right tale approximately that god. each and each will deny that the different worships a similar god because of the fact all they could see is the ameliorations and don't see that the two religions have a similar historic roots.
