Hi, I'm 16, female, and weight over 60 kg (about 133 lb). I want to lose at least 8 kilos (about 17 lb) in 2-3 months. Can you give me a healthy diet plan, with light exercise, that will be effective? I don't have a lot of time for exercise as I am doing a ton of work in school.
Can you tell me how much weight I can expect to lose and in how long, if I follow it?

Thanks!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Here's a fail-safe exercise plan that you can actually do for the rest of your life. Buy a pedometer that keeps track of how far you walk every day. Try to walk up to 10,000 steps each day if you can.

This is a great healthy balance. :) Just make sure in your meals you divide your plate into carbs, fruits and veggies and protein, fist size portion of each.
