friend.
your analysis is almost reasonable.
There is one saying or a statement, '' PHILOSOPHY BEGINS WHERE SCIENCE ENDS.''
So , so far that which is philosophical side , when explained scientifically , slips into science side.
That which can not be explained by science always remains the other side, that is PHILOSOPHY (SPIRITUALISM).
There is no doubt that science made great progress in discovering so many things.
But there will remain always, always something that is to be known.
you can define happiness...you can identify the part of brain where the cells or whatever they call exist.....but you can never create happiness...the inner feeling , emotion, divinity.
Evolution without involution is meaningless.
In a sees , the entire tree of that particular seed is involved first. Then only the tree can come out of it.So involution is first and evolution is next.
some of the greatest scientists too agreed that there is some thing beyond the human intellect to know...some thing superior ...
Wealth, health, prosperity etc may be there..but do you think a man can be happy with all these things? No.There are several millions who have all these things ,yet there is some dissatisfaction, unhappiness is there.some thing worries always..the pursuit is to find a solution to be eternally happy.
as long as humanity is there , all spiritual things will be there.,whatever the science advancements.

I think it will always survive, because once they get down to an obvious minority, believers tend to dig in their heels and become very stubborn. Isn't that what the creationists are doing right now?
BTW, I do not think science negates the necessity for religion, or at least the spiritual side of life. Indeed, we have many examples. The most successful psychological healing, by actual research, is that done in the 12-step programs, which postulate a "higher power" without getting specific about how to define it. The program works for reasons that have to do with the nature of the human spirit, which necessarily reaches for help from above itself, in whatever form it can be perceived.

Within the next hundred years or so, christianity will be replaced by something based on broader philosophies.
There's an opening for some clever dude to be the new messiah.
The Raj nesh was pretty clever with the demographic he targeted for his religion (upper middle class, tell them to do what they want as long as they give you lots of money), but he didn't sethis aspirations higher enough.
There's a couple of billion suckers just hanging out for a new religion, just look at how people flock to new age book stores.

NEVER
It will never die but there is no use trying to reason with you as you already think I am stupid, but every few years science proves itself worng and has a new theory but no one wonders about this because it is called science.
Theroy is not fact if you study science you should know that!
For that matter why don't you just leave Christians alone, personally I don't care what you believe I just get mad at people Christians included who act like poeple of other religions/non religious are stupid because they belive different things.

For less than 10 years. Most people have awaken now and know that mainstream religions are lies. Every day more and more proof comes out that religions are made to control people and nothing more. There is nothing now like the middle ages when people believed that "God" moves the sun up or down whenever he pleases. I hope some day religions will fall, and future historians will refer to mainstream religions as "the worst page of humanity's history".

It will survive as long as there are people in the traditionally-Christian world who refuse to face the responsibility of constructing a meaningful life on their own terms. When you shirk this responsibility, you requie other people to tell you what matters rather than figuring it out for yourself.
But education that promotes critical thinking skills (not indoctrination of any kind, just the celebration of wrestling with tough questions) is the antidote to superstition. So as long as we protect true education (critical thinking, argument construction, argument deconstruction, etc.), we will see Christianity (and other religions) decline.
Great question!

All modern medicine and science won't save your soul.
How long? eternally.
Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; -- scientists included. And Jesus does heal.

It will take a few generations for it to mostly go away. But it won't totally die for a very long time. People still believe in Zeus and Anubis, so you can't expect it to disappear totally anytime soon.

Simple answer, it is not going away and anyone who believes that is probably following "The Atheist Delusion."
God and science are two necessary pieces to a common puzzle, one explains who and why, the other explains where, when, and how.
