find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Athletic with a belly? Sounds like you have a slow metabolism.

Your body weight is determined by the amount of calories you take in, and the amount you burn off. If your athletic and still carrying a bit of a belly around, see a doc, they can offer you some safer options that your likely to come across here.

No offense to any docs or personal trainers out there who may answer.

You have to mention your height. If you are 6 foot tall and 165 your thin.

If you are 5 foot tall and 165 you are heavy.

If you are 5 foot 8 inches or 9 inches tall you are just right.

So it is up to you to figure it out.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
