I would like to know why ambulance drivers take the piss and use their lights and sirens at every opportunity, I live in Kingston upon Hull in the UK and this goes on all day and all night when it is clear that there is no emergency, they scream up and down the road every five to ten minutes all day long, and during the night, when there is very little traffic on the road , most of the time driving like Miss Daisy, clearly they just want to get through the traffic or are late for their tea break or cig break, it is about time these wankers were fined for misuse of thier sirens and lights and should have points on their licence and it would not take long before they lost their licence, probably a day or so, you do not see the police every five to ten minutes up and down the road or the fire services, only the ambulance drivers. Stop taking the piss, you know who you are, STOP IT !!!!

Many states regulate the use of sirens and lights on all vehicles allowing use of them only in ambulances , police cars, emergency vehicles and all official cars or registered private emergency vehicles like tow trucks or flatbeds. If you want to use a siren or lights in a car check well with motor vehicles department in your state. Otherwise you could be violating the law. But now I'm curious. Why do you want tocall the attention of everyone?

Sure, you can even buy yourself a badge, uniform and even the radio and lights!! Even easier than that, just get arrested and you can just ride and enjoy the lights and siren, maybe wave to the crowd in your cuffs Ha Ha!!!! Then they can bring you to jail and let me book you in and take your picture. What fame!!!! See you there!

Called impersonating an officer or emergency personnel. Very illegal, at the least you will loose your vehicle, if not your license, be fined and if you caused any harm or used it for gain you will being doing some jail time.
So technically you could, but I would definitely not recommend it.

You can, but you would be arrested.
Why dont you just become an ambulance driver or a police officer? Then you can do it legally!!!

What on EARTH would make you think that doing that would be OK on any level???
They crack down on people with blue neons on their car. (emergency personell are the only ones who are allowed blue lights on vehicles)
Really think about your question.
Do you honestly believe that a moron like you could do this without any reprocussions???
Stupid should hurt.

You can't it's illegal. Matter of fact, when they sell police cars at auction-they've already removed the police package.
