Truth, I believe is the mind and the eye of the beholder. You can think, believe, or have faith in whatever you want but there is always something there to dispute it.
I am not just talking religion, but the way we perceive our environments and other people is always so radically different that there seems to be very little truth that can be identified as absolute.
How can you find the real truth about anything really? It s too easy to deceive yourself into turning the truth into what you want it to be. Even if your a very self-aware human being there seems to be no way to wrap your mind around anything without including your own life experiences or ego. That's when it just gets tainted and then ceases to exist.
I don't believe there is a such thing as truth where the human mind is concerned. It s not real to us anyway and I am not sure if it is important.

You see how much it matters when you find yourself in an environment where people set no store by the truth and nobody is able to trust anyone or anything any more. Jesus told His disciples that they would know the truth (through the leading of the Spirit of Truth) and that the truth would set them free. How wonderfully refreshing to be able to trust in a God Who is always truthful, always faithful and always trustworthy!

Truth is different things to different people. Some believe that their personal opinion is the only truth. Dangerous.

Truth is what science can prove, facts, something that mainstream religions lack of. Of course it does matter, unless you like to spend the rest of your life living and believing in a lie.

The truth is in JESUS
"I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (Joh 14 : 6)"
& it matters cuz
"..., and the truth shall make you free" (Joh 8 : 32)

Truth is knowing the difference of right and wrong.
It should matter, but some don't think so as long as they get what they want, or think they need.

Truth is fact. Sometimes I say I want people to know the truth. Sometimes I say I want people to know the facts. To me the terms are interchangeable.

Jesus said that he's the truth the way and the life and I believe him. He seemed to be a trustworthy person, didn't he?

I believe Jesus is the Truth. Yes, it matters to me, because I want to spend my eternity with Him.
