The Bible is quite clear what the future is for the earth and those that 'inherit' it.

I have faith and hope it will occur as prophesied.

Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

More hope than fear. Life is complicated and sometimes is hard. I can die in almost any moment but I'm not thinking about that. I you don't have hope in the future you are loose.

I face it with both. I fear that I cannot do enough on my own to leave the world better than I came into it and I am hopeful that I will succeed in my efforts for the sake of my children.

I always look forward with hope. This is because I have a simple belief in life. All things will work themselves out if given time. However, in order to make this happen you must go forward with the belief that everything will be okay. You should be aware of the worst case scenario, but if you expect it as a result, too often it creates a self fulfilling prophesy. In short negative gets negative in return.

Hope! Always look to the future with hope because we can't change the past. Look to the past for guidance.

A bit of both. I fear for my children, what kind of world they'll inherit, but I also have hope that things will get better.

The phrase take one day at a time is used a lot- I adhere to it literally. If I considered the long term future it would probably only depress me.

For Christians there is hope even when things are really bad, because we know that God loves us and is in control.
