Most carbohydrates need to be gotten from Fruits and Vegetables. Many people, especially in European cultures tend to eat bread with pretty much every meal, but mostly dinner. Eating bread with everything is not a healthy lifestyle to get into.

First off, you need to not have so many potatoes, pastas, bascially overall foods that make you feel bloated, full and overall lazy. Let's face it, when we eat heavy foods, that's how we feel like.

What time of the day do you find that you eat the most carbs? If it's breakfast, that's fine because breakfast is where we need the most nutrients to keep us going. If it's lunch, then have some more fruits and vegetables with a different meal. If it's dinner, you need to cut out carbs by a longshot for dinner. If you have hot dogs for dinner, don't have bread with it.

You should get most of your carbs from fruits and veggies not butties! Have only a couple of slices of bread a day and that should be enough.

try eating whole wheat products instead of refined flour products. you should eat 5-6 portions of whole grains. one slice of bread is one portion. read the label to know how much they consider a portion. these article might help. one suggests drinking water to help.
