I know exactly how you feel. Losing weight is so darn hard! Food tastes so good and tempting and exercising is so hard and time consuming!!!

I'm 5 feet tall and 240 pounds, and I've been heavy my whole life. (but right now, I am at my heaviest).

Wanna e-mail me and talk about weight loss and diet-tips? What works and what does work, etc..

Cheers

Started in January (new year's resolution, as always) and lost 7 kilos. Went from 89 to 82 kilos (I'm 5'5") in seven weeks, but then just plateaud. The scale just wouldn't budge anymore. So I started eating all the wrong things again cuz I got discouraged.

But...I joined the gym last week. Then I ate like a pig yesterday and today. The plan is to "really" start tomorrow (as always!) and to do an hour to an hour and a half working out at the gym Monday to Friday. Then to do 15 minutes warm up and some serious weight lifting on Saturday. Then relax Sunday and eat what I want. During the week, the eating plan is two eggs in the morning with an apple, lots of grapefruit and a banana for lunch, then some chicken and steamed vegetables or lettuce for dinner and some fruit for dessert. No snacking in between. Also to drink lots of water and get up by 8:30 or before (sleep in on Sundays, though) and go to bed before 1AM.

Well, that's the plan anyway. Lets see if we stick to our diets for a change! You can email me if you want ( oxtutor@yahoo.com ). Perhaps we can encourage and motivate each other.

yes that would include me it's so frustrating isn't it. i can usually start a day great but by the evening completely ruin it by convincing myself i don't care anymore. 10 minutes later i'm depressed and VOW to start a healthy regime tomorrow. p.s. i've done that for the past 3 months. gosh, i wish it were easy. i think i'm doing everything right but maybe some people are just meant to be larger. i work alot harder at weight loss than so much people around me (in terms of exercise and food control) but am experiencing lesser results. BUT WHY!!

I can't stay on mine. I try. I have lost weight before and eventually it all comes home...i really wish it would find a new home but my eating habits are horrid , if its fried or sweet it has to be good !
Weight Watchers works , you weigh in every week which keeps you accountable , if stay on it but I firmly believe that eating right and exercise is what keeps it off, no matter what program you try. A friend who has same goals helps also.

try this I start by just cutting down my size of the meals and working out for like 15 minutes a day and as I go along i start cutting out sweets and sodas I drink lots of water with lemon . Try that and you should do just fine

Welcome to the club! And all those programs out there...they don't work. I'm now on my own and have lost quite a lot of weight. Weigh and measure your food, eat lots of fruit, vegetables, chicken and fish. Give up butter. You can do it!

Yes you can, you just need to be determined that you can and are going to do this. It's all about mind over matter.
