I am so happy. I live in Dallas. FB citizens just voted to make it mandetory for landlords not to lease to illigal aliens. These landlords will be fined if they do not comply. Now it is time for the Nation to follow.

Farmers Branch should get an award...
They are not the only ones who understand that laws are to be enforced and funded.. but they do have good texas grit
Maybe they should invite Congress down for a free seminar..offer an open bar and a fish fry and free air time on the local news..
Yahoo to Farmers Branch!

I am not from Texas but I did watch the Today show and see where the towns people are trying to take back control of their situation and yes I fully support the town and the idea. I also saw the one apartment complex business owner who said if the law stands she would loose 90% of her business - I could not believe she admitted it to a nationally syndicated show!!! That just goes to show you laws are not being enforced (as yet) and their is absolutely no fear of prosecution by business owners OR landlords.

Kudos for Farmers Branch, TX - I hope they set an example for the entire US.

Go Farmers Branch.
Now don't fold!
Maybe Cherokee county in Georgia will reinstate theirs.(They passed an ordinance at the county level but caved in to "special interest groups") Maybe they will have the courage to put it on the ballot too.
I wish my county would get on the stick.

Uphold my countries laws!!!

I tried to post about this 10 hours ago and it STILL hasn't come up...

There will be a lawsuit, of course.

However, it does make you wonder where exactly Gallup pulled that 'majority of Americans favoring legalization' from.

I'm so happy.
I think the $500 fine should be higher.
I wish they would do the same in Los Angeles.

Why would we (the rest of the nation) follow that example? Are the "illigal aliens" harming everybody? Or anybody? Sounds like you're placing law&order over the good of people.

And hopefully, the rest of the country will not follow.
