find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I am 5 feet tall and I weigh 240 pounds! So I know exactly what it feels like to be heavy and uncomfortable! It's miserable, isn't it!
I went to the library and rented out some work out tapes, and have been working out to them, and I can sure feel the difference! It feels good to the body to get up and move everyday for about 20-30 minutes a day.
I have a kid too, and it's VERY hard for me to get outside and go for a walk. I can't take the kid with me, cause he can't keep up, and I can't leave him at home alone. So I work out inside my house. It's free, fun and I can feel the burn.
I have also been trying to eat more healthy foods such as fruits, veggies, low fat dairies, whole wheat breads, and lean meats.
When I get a craving for chocolate, candy bars, ice cream, etc. I'll snack on some cantaloupe, cucumbers, baby carrots, canned peaches, canned mandarin oranges, fat free yogurt, etc, etc. I eat that instead of the sweets(between meals or as snacks). Just making this small change of eating something healthy instead of eating a cookie has already helped! :-)
Just making small changes will help you. You don't have to do it all at once. Just losing 4-5 pounds a month will make you healthy and strong.
Cheers and Good Luck losing the weight

Join a gym and get away from those kids for an hour a day. Your BMR is 1530 Cals... so, if you do alternate cardio with weight training every other day.. you can still eat like 1500 Cals and make good headway. Instead of weighing yourself... just start buying smaller clothes in about 2 months time... and measure yourself with a tape measure before you start so you can monitor your progress... this by reason that muslce mass weighs more than fat does... and you will be the amazing shrinking woman... in no time... with sexxy legs.

All diets, weight loss plans basically help you eat less. There's no magic to it. Just eat less, but that's the hard part. Low carb diet have been one of most effective diet that helped people lose weight and maintain low weight. People have much easier time sticking with low carb than other diets.

i recommend the Shapeworks Program from Herbalife. I lost 15 lbs in one month by simply taking a cookies and cream vitamin shake 2 times a day and then whatever dinner i wanted. Along with that i take healthy, nutrional tablets with every meal. Its quick and easy especially since you have to keep an eye on baby all the time. and the bottom line is it works real well. i recommend you at least visit the site to learn more about it and see if it fits your needs. Hope this helps.
