If he's living then he never really died at all.
What kind of sacrifice is that?

You have not heard of the Resurrection? Jesus even foretold both his death and resurrection. He said that he would be in the heart of the earth for 3 days and 3 nights, then he would rise again. He did die, and was dead for 3 days and nights. What - isn't that long enough for you? You want him to just stay dead then? Yeah, I think quite a lot of people feel that way.

But our hope of being resurrected is based upon that of Jesus' resurrection, according to the Bible. The Apostle Paul writes, "If Christ be not risen, then your hope is in vain."

What kind of sacrifice is that? Read John 3:16, which basically sums up the whole Bible.

I don't know how much of the 'old testement' you have read, so here is a quick overview.
The soul that sins, shall surely die. & The wages of sin is death.
YHWH made provision that when a person sins, they could stall payday (death) by sacrificing the blood of another in their place, namely that of a clean animal, one without blemish or imperfection. Of course these where animals, and so could not cover all sins of one person, let alone many.
YHWH sent his son Yahushua (whom Christians call Jesus), to live a perfect life, and be found clean and without blemish, to be a sacrifice to cover all sin for all time (for those who choose to be covered by his blood).
And so Yahushua died, shedding every last drop of his sin-free blood to pay the price for our sin. His subsequent resurection from the dead does not negate the effectiveness of this sacrifice.
All men are of one blood, and just as all mankind sinned through the action of one man (Adam), so to all mankind can be covered by the sacrife of this one man, Yahushua.
Each of us will also die (unless he returns first), and be resurected with new and glorified bodies just as he has now.
Now he who was once a spirit, and created all things, will live forever as a man. That is a big sacrifice if you ask me. Its like being sent to break up a dog fight between 2000 pit bulls. Before you go, you will be made into a chiwowa (how cute). You will be torn to shreds and killed (in that order), but you will be resurected afterwards, sound okay? And did I mention, you get to be the chiwowa for the rest of eternity. Any volunteers?
I hope you will take some time to read the books of Moses sometime (first 5 books in your bible), as well as the Gospels. If you look for it, you will see just how significant his sacrifice truely was.
Don't let it be for nothing, accept Yahushua (Jesus) as your attoning sacrifice, that you might be saved from your sins. Invite Him into your heart, and He will teach you things beyond worldly understanding.

Your mind is so srew up it is pityfull, Jesus died for all sins, But he rose again on the 3rd day, Into that of a IMMORTAL BODY, He was the perfect sacrifice for all mankind. Now he sits on the Throne in heaven as our mediator, Until that last soul is redeemed, Then he come off the mercy seat & judgement is pronounced., Now you ask how can he die & live again, With the Power of God all things can be done.

Because after He suffered and died, He rose up from the dead, and now is in heaven with the Father.

It is the ultimate sacrifice, because what happened is through the person of Jesus Christ, God actually became human, went through all of the sufferings and hardships that humans go through, and then died a terrible death. Think of that for a moment. God, the creator of the universe, the almighty, all-powerful God, actually allowed Himself to be subjected to that, so that we would know that He knows what we are going through in our own lives. It had to be that way, or it wouldn't have had meaning to it.

Jesus was fully God, but at the same time fully human. But in rising again, He conquered death, and the ultimate cause of death, which is sin. Thanks to His dying and rising again, we now have a chance at eternal life for ourselves, if we through our free will, choose to accept it.

His body died, and then His resurected body is perfect read the bile you might learn something. Because you don't beleive in an after life so it would seem silly wouldn't it, or do you secretly really hope in an afterlife. When things arn't going your way. I can see it now, you in a plane about to crash asking God for forgiveness just incase you were wrong. You lot make me crack-up, so-called atheist, no such thing as an atheist.

He died in the flesh. He is God and had no sin yet he died the death of a sinner for us. He then rose from the dead and with that resurrection gave us the gift of salvation. Even though we die, we know we will rise again as he did.

You have God, He created all. His top angel, Lucifer, got sick of following Him. So short story he left, in doing so he created sin. God didn't like this, for Lucifer got man to sin and God was upset his creation was sinning.

Since God is God, not flesh, he had to fix this issue that Lucifer created. So God created His son, Yahushua (Jesus). Yahushua came here, died for us, to accept those sins that Lucifer has created. In turn, God has undone what Lucifer has done. He put the band aid on the dam if you will.

Yahushua (Jesus) is God in the form of flesh. Since God is past imagination, He himself is not 100% in Yahushua, as in God is still Him, He just created a human that is Him as well. As He can do anything... after all He did speak all we know into existence in 6 days and breathed on dirt and it became alive into us.

Best is to do studies online, on your own, etc. Sometimes churches and classes can be misleading and very confusing.

Jesus really did die on the cross but was raised from the dead and so we are correct in saying that He lives, Jesus suffered and experienced death in all it`s horror and even though He knew that He would rise again this did not preclude Him from this terrible suffering for us.

Jesus the man died for our sins. Jesus, the son of God, rose again to be an intercessor for us. He's at the right hand of God the father now, pleading for our cause. He was fully man, and is fully God. He said; the Father and I are one.
