'fraid it probably is, most people fear the unknown and death has always been the great unknown.

'The Serenity Prayer' says it all, it works just as well without the word god and the Amen at the end.

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

The moment you are born, when they cut the umbilical cord you know one fact. Honest. The fact is one day you will die. However, unless you have a illness, health problem, know a friend who died suddenly the chances are you will never 'think' about dying. In fact many people get so caught up with 'living' they believe they will never die. Some people believe they are too good to die. Those who do take time out to 'think' about dying are really thinking about living, so congratulations. We all in our teens think, gee 70 is old and far away on a planet that NASA has not found yet. You could ask 'why did we invent time' because what is the opposite of time? Those at 70 still feel like teenagers have another 50 years ahead of them. Yes it is normal, because in thinking about dying you are in reality thinking about living and life is short, so go for it.

Well your not alone, thats for sure. I've always had this problem. I dont think you should worry about whether it is normal or not, i do know that not my friends do not suffer from it. Concerntrate more on how you are going to feel better abouy your worrys. Iv tried not thinking about it but it only makes it worse when i do think about it. Talk to you friends or parents. I talk to my mum about it and she was the same when she was young, which is weird because she never told me about it before i brought it up. I dont know how badly you get it. I get panic attacks which definately isnt normal.
Well, good luck.
