Get in touch with the hotel your father is staying and tell them of his forthcoming 80th Birthday. Arrange a Birthday Cake and some champagne to be presented to him with all the family`s love. Ask them to take photo`s of the event then when you get them put them into a lovely frame and he will always remember your special treat.....Wish him happy Bithday for me!!!

That's sad, but I must admit that I feel that anyone who wants a serious long-term relationship should be getting married so that it's known up front what you expect from this other person(no cheating... ever!). Otherwise you're pretty much telling the guy that cheating is ok because there's very little commitment in your arrangement. Either of you could walk away as you haven't necessarily promised to stay together. I think that because you allowed him to start with the porn you basically gave him an inch and he took a mile. It's better not to start with that kind of stuff as it is addictive and especially for men. Feeling hurt won't make things better, though. Find out first, EXACTLY what you really want from him. Don't say: "if you don't change..." because that will just make him mad. Say: "I miss the way you used to..." because that may touch his heart, if he has one. It's possible that he's a total jerk and doesn't want any real ties, which means you might need to move on to find somebody who can see eye to eye with you about what you really want from a relationship.

People that age don't necessarily need more "stuff" so do something for his trip. Either pay for some of it or give him a send off party. You could make a wonderful photo album for him with both old and recent photos that is like a chronicle of his life with a section set up for pics from his \Bermuda trip...good luck..enjoy your time with him that is what he will appreciate most.

Bit late to start it now, for his 80th, but do a special scrapbook about him and his life, make it real personal. Still you got a chance to do it for his 81st.

My friend just bought his father a new walker. As odd as this sounds. It has a fold down seat on it, so he can sit and take a break when he needs to.
His dad loves it.

Hello honey, you could get him a portrait of all his kids and grandkids maybe or organise a family dinner and try to get as many of your family together to celebrate with him.

has he been to bermuda? if not, how about a dvd/book on the place, a camera/video for the trip, and a journal for him to write adventures(you could write messages in the journal for him to read while away)
