Accept the fact that you'll eventually work a 9-5 like every other poor sucker out there.

Greatness can come in all forms, not just on a National scale. It is good to have parents that tell us that we can be great, as it instills a drive within us that helps to do the best we can. Being a good parent is a form of greatness. Being a good person is a form of greatness, as is being kind, loving your fellow man and many other small things that are taken for granted. Helping a blind person across the street, taking in a stray animal, helping someone to find a job, or doing a charitable thing, are all great things. Enjoying life and appreciating what you have and being happy is a great thing. Do you get my story line. Greatness isn't being the football star or best athlete in the school, although it is a great feat, but true greatness, that has been preached to you since childhood, is merely your parents encouraging you to do the best you can at anything you do. When you do this you will be great within yourself, and leave a legacy that others close to you and those who know/knew you will remember all their lives.

I would try to let everything fall into place itself without going out of my way to attempt to make it happen, because if it was GOING and SUPPOSED to happen then it would happen anyway whether or not I did something about it!
However regardless of even if I was told that I was destined for greatness when I was born, then I think I would probably do everything in my power to increase my chances even more of changing the world/making a difference wherever I went, of dying not unknown, because I'm naturally ambitious.

I would be gracious about it. All of us are capable of doing great things. My teacher once said that we just have to do ordinary things extraordinarily well. If I was destined to be great, I'll make the most of it. Things like that are not wasted. I'll do everything to diminish the problems in Africa. Africa is not a dark continent for me, the sun just don't shine fully yet but I hope it does...soon.

whether u r told or not told...i believe everyone is destined to achieve something great in life..it's sad tht we dont utilize our potential to the fullest extent...the very fact tht u hav some desire means tht u hav capacity to realise it...identify ur purpose n direct all ur energy towards it...
dont sit bak n wait for miracles to happen...it's never gonna happen without human efforts...

If you want to achieve your supposed destiny, you have to work for it. Fate is not going to meet you in your lounge room in front of the tv!
Get out of the house and get going :-)
Good luck!

no, better yet
try FIGHT CLUB http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0137523/
"We're the middle children of history.
No purpose or place.
We have no Great War.
No Great Depression.
Our great war is a spiritual war.
Our great depression is our lives.
We've all been raised on television to believe
that one day we'd be millionaires
and movie gods and rock stars.
But we won't.
We're slowly learning that fact.
And we're very, very pissed off.
Yeah!
- First rule of Fight Club is, do not talk about fight club..."
