I ask this cause in the comics Venom is such a main villain and in the movie he was just shunted to a sort of add-on. Also i think that if any sequel is made with Venom then Carnage should also appear. Just a thought!!

Not Possible , He's dead . You see all the villains die in the same movie - Green Goblin in the 1st one , Doc Ock in the 2nd , and Venom in the 3rd . So , I believe whoever should be the Villain in the next movie will also die in the end .

Yes, there will be a sequel. Actually there is going to be a part 4 and part 5 to the franchise. Who the villains are going to be nobody knows until it all gets finalized. Although Tobey Maguire might not be back for #4 and #5, as well as Kirsten Dunst.
As far as Venom is concerned, it is a rather good possibility that he will return. If you remember when Dr. Connors had a specimen of the alien symbiote at the the labs for analysis, so there is still a copy of the organism. Also, if you remember the scene where the symbiote was dropping off the bell tower, it first lands on Eddie's jacket..then he rips it off, the rest of it lands on his hands and then it starts to form. Not sure if the jacket might come into play, but I know that Conners still has a sample. Also, now I doubt this is going to happen, but in the comics the longer you kept the symbiote on the less likely you can lose it, because it eventually bonds to your DNA. Now, since he only had it for like a day in the movie, they MIGHT use that as a good continuation. Although, anyone who has read the comics would know otherwise. Also, you might be able to play the "alternate symbiote card" and if anyone has ever played "Separation Anxiety" for the SNES, you will know what I am talking about.

Venom was added on, because the director wanted it to be a Spiderman vs Sandman. The studio wanted it to be Spiderman vs Venom. There was a compromise with Venom being tacked on. So if the director comes back, Venom would be dead. If the director doesn't come back then there will probably be more Venom.
Also Spiderman is not doing all that hot in the domestic box office. Sure it started off well, but it is having very weak legs. This could mean that Spiderman 4 would have a smaller budget in anticipation that it wouldn't do that well in the box office.

I'm sure they will have another sequel with Venom in it. Carnage would be pretty cool to see on the big screen.

possibility venom will return even hough he's been bombed or burnt in his last movie. spiderman will need a villian in his next movie , so yeah, why not.

well im pretty sure that there will be a spiderman 4 cause they gave it away the other day on mtv and yeah he will return cause then there is no purpose of another sequel
