Being a real warm day I thought it might be a fuel problem. I had a full tank of gas. What do you think? Thanks for responding

what i think is you should start your car up and open the hood and have someone step on the gas and see whats happening if its the cable or whatever might be wrong but thats the first thing i would do is to see if your throttle is operating correctly or not then take it fromthere

its not a fuel problem. your throttle cable either broke or came loose. need more info. what happens exactly when u step on the gas? does it rev at all or just nothing?

no service engine lite? is it fuel injected? could be a number of problems. one cheap check is to check for damaged vacuum hoses, replace if you find one. also add injector cleaner to your gas.
