Hi there , whenever i shutdown my PC one message>>> dww.exe Failed to Initialize because Windows is shutting down<< comes .. what is this bug and how to solve this crap .. please help me its very annoying..

not a lot shows up for dww

the second question is not much. its a copy paste from a different website.

I suggest running http://www.grisoft.com free anti virus and spyware programs.

If that doesnt help, you should backup all info on your computer that you want to keep and reformat it.


as you can see #2 and #3 are finding the only refrance to dww.exe from google.

your problem seems very very unique. I'd start over

ha, they even voted against me.............

let me ask you. do you want to go through 6 clicks every time you want to turn off your computer or do you want to do it right with only one click every time?

This is nothing to really worry about. And generally open happens twice before the message stops. To correct - one method:This edit automatically ends tasks and timeouts that prevent programs from shutting down and clears the Paging File on Exit.Auto End Tasks to Enable a Proper Shutdown (Line 76)

why don't u try looking at msconfig (startup tab) to see if this loads at statup .. if it is there, uncheck it then reboot.
