I mean really . . . isn't it amazing?

Get a life people. Do something positive.

Spreading hate is the last thing this world needs.

I wanted to respond to the Christian GLBT member. I know that some gays are christian and I fully respect that. When I say bible pusher I mean someone who spreads hate and pushes the bible in everyones face like its the end all be all.

They dont want gay material shoved in their face, dont shove the bible in mine. I didnt mean to sound offensive to Christians. But the ones who post here are so busy spreading propaganda.

The bottom line is, I'm sick of the hate. Not just against homosexuals, but the hate of people in general. I dont want to sound like a hippy, but we will never be free until we learn to let our hearts go, and accept others as they are and love.

Its true. All this hate is bringing me down, and I dont want to be down.

Much love ya'll. Thanks for so many awesome posts.

Wow, you really took the words out of my mouth. Instead of preaching love, care and concern, they are telling people to hate and to marginalise "people like us". Telling someone that their way of life is totally immoral and wrong is like forcing that guy to either jump of the building or to adopt a totally new identity. Sad when they can't prioritise what should be done 1st. Let's all hug the tree ^^ and save the animal.

I agree, their does seem to be an awful lot of them over here. What's funny is that they are often the same people who preach all sorts of "Jesus loves you" stuff on R&S and then come over here and post hate. I think there's more fundies over here in the LGBT section than in R&S sometimes!

Yes, it is.

My favorite quote on the subject:

"Men and women who are comfortably heterosexual aren't obsessed with stamping out homosexuality. Normal, non-neurotic people don't care what other people do in the privacy of their own homes. Normal heterosexual men don't spend their Saturday nights hanging around gay bars to beat up gays--they're out with women. It is by no means coincidental that so many homophobes are also misogynists."

I sometimes wonder "What would Jesus do?" if he came back and saw all the hate. I figure these hypocrites would be first in line to see Jesus. But they might get a surprise. Hang in there. It is bad, but there are really good people out there.

The fun part of this "game" is following the religious bigots,(Iìm not saying all religious people are bigots by the way) back over to the Religion and Spirituality Category.

These haters mutate themselves into "God's" children.

It's very entertaining.

its not nice
you would think that this section would allow comfort or some kind of unity and understanding, but no matter where we go or where we are, we are discriminaited against because of our sexuality
even in our own section of yahoo answers.
i think its sad

yeah really, I think its amazing out of all the "sins" people commit, being gay is the major one christians hate. I mean Id think rape, murder, child molestation, stealing, cheating on your wife.. etc... would be worse. but no.. they are to busy worrying if two people of the same sex are in love. they forget two things the bible said.. ye without sin cast the first stone, and.. judge ye not least ye be judged.... idiots

On some days/nights this appears to be true. However, it just takes a tiny bit of poison to kill, so, even just one hater seems larger than life. Really they are no-one.

What I find amazing is, how much time they spend thinking about homosexuality. They probably post more often because they think about gay sex more than gay people do.
