all I know is I get taxed for the work I do at my job, and grants are fed with my taxes and others charitables (those who will give money "100's o Ks" to see me and others succeed) , then NO.
Let the grant pay my way.
I will be ever thankful

If I work and I'm still taxed and I make too much $ to qualify for a grant then YES. I will pay for my own tuition

or if my parents take care of me, then its up to my parents if they pay or I pay. The way they do their (or my) taxes depends on it.

always declare your own taxes
