My mom and I went out to eat. When we first walked in, we noticed we were the only ones there! So the waiter gets our drinks and we order from the menu. We sat there for more than half an hour! We were the only people there, so we don't know what took so long. After sitting there for the longest time, my mom put $5 on the table for the drinks and we ran out. Have you ever left a restaurant before your food was brought to you? If so, how come?

Hello,

Eating out for me has become very undesirable for many reasons:
1. Finding foreign objects in the meal.
2. Getting meal prepared from previously prepared frozen food. A habit that restaurants to cover for the loss or absence of the cooking staff. An example, I went to an up scale Mexican restaurant and realized that Tuesday evening was proably the Cooks night off. Because I got my meal and saw that my Taco shells were not deep fried in oil as usual. Then I looked at the other meals and realized the deep fryer was not working or not in use that evening. I asked one of the waitresses and she confirmed that their regular cook was off on Tuesdays. So you get what the establishment has not necessarily what you order.
An for foreign objects, well, I order Fish and Chips from (not a fast food but a sit down average $35 a plate restaurant). The meal was served and I cut into the fish and notice the plastic wrapper was still around the fish. The kitchen staff had taken it out of the freezer and put fish, plastic wrap and all in the, what ever they cook it in.
Another meal I order a five pound lobster, when it came to the table I cracked open one of the claws and it reeked of dead fish.

Going out to eat and realizing that the hands that are preparing your food are not clean and they don't care what or how the food gets to you because they are unhappy about pay, hours or working conditions.

I'd rather prepare my own food. I know how it is prepared and what went into it.

We went to a restaurant, ordered, and waited and waited and waited. We asked the waiter about the food, cause we were hungry. The waiter kinda got irritated and said that the food was coming. The restaurant was not really busy. Maybe they were short with cook or some ingredient.

But, the waiter was not polite at all. How would he feel if the tables were turned. We asked for the check, paid the check minus the food, and left no tip.

We went to the nearest Fast Food which was McDonald's and my girlfriend was not happy at all. I had to make it up since it was my idea to go there. It's all good now.

yeah, same reason. I made a rule for myself, if I go into a restaurant and it's deserted, especially if it's a weekend night and every other restaurant is crowded, I walk right out. People around there know to stay away and they must have a good reason.

Besides, if they do that bad of a job in the dining room, who knows what they're doing in the kitchen? They could have all been lining up to spit on your food for all you know.

I've never walked out without my food, but after reading your story, I kinda wish I'd had the guts to do it a few times myself!

Same thing happened to us. The excuse was that the chef was too busy educating the servers. Even though they were open! We're never going back there.

The service provider thould think about this.
Hotel is a hospitality industry and it should be in line human expectation.
They cant expect us to wait with hunger.

I even have in no way executed that earlier. I did, besides the undeniable fact that, start up licking the glass and make obscene gestures with my palms. Then the vehicle in the back of me honked whilst the mild became green.

Same reason. By law you do not have to pay for your food if it was not served to you. (at least where I live)
