pulsar 220 is much better bike. i have pulsar 200 cc . karizma 223cc average is 18 on 100km/hr. and 25 on 60km/hr. pulsar220cc average is 34 on 60km/hr.
its good to purchase pulsar220 comes around rs.68,000 but not more than 70,000. hope release in ends of summer.
it has very diff. and unique head lamp and looks very diff. when comes on road.

it seems like ur more confused than u look as ur talkin abt more than 200cc bikez n still askin for avg.
anyways,in Pune i hv heard people also ride super bikes as well, so i dont think there is much of a problem with roads.
as far as a rockin bike is concerned, Karizma is still rockin with its new Black engine as Pulsar(220) is not visible in Delhi roads yet. So, how can u judge a bike even before its launch?
wat would i suggest u is, if u really wanna compare these bikes u better wait and see the response for Pulsar(220) ON road and then u urself will be able to figure out the difference.

Pulsar 220 is NOT powerful compared to Pulsar 200... may be Bajaj R & D has NOT succeeded in sorting out the fuel injection to meet the power requirement and the fuel consumption in the mapping of the new chip for ECU.
AND do not mess power with fuel economy.. both do not go hand in hand as more power needs more fuel, you can not build a body builder without giving him a proper diet !!!! If you want power, go for Pulsar, if you want economy, go for Bajaj CT 100. Its your choice and how deep is your pocket. And Pune roads need a motocross bike anyway, which you won't get easily , so stick to Pulsar 200

If you want economy, why are you thinking of Karizma and Pulsar 220
You may better drive a BOXER or DAWN.
