the third one--which is odd for me because i usually prefer the second film in a trilogy/series.

not only did this movie bring us to a climax, it held together well in terms of plot and action.

add to that the woman warrior who could really kick some butt (and who i definitely did not see enough of), and the third film is the clear winner for me.

The Fellowship - it's always nice to know how they all got together and what not. The other two they just tell how it went afterwards. Books are better though - now if they made The Silmarillion or the Hobbit into movies then that would definitely kick some behinds!!!! Don't think the movies were very good at giving enough info as the Ring's Sauron's or Bilbo's previous experience/history. But that's just me!

The Return of The King.
It made go back and rethink on the way I lead my life-whether to stand and wait for things to happen or be up and active in life. The battle scenes were amazing and left me spellbound. The actors were simply brilliant especially Sean Austin(Sam),Viggo(Aragorn),Orlando Bloom and practically everyone from the least imp ones to the most imp ones. And the parting scene of Frodo and Sam was great but it made me cry.

I liked the Two Towers best, because I felt it covered the story most completely, and because I'm a huge fan of Viggo Mortensen and this film had the most for him to do in it.
