It tastes like Whisky!! My mum uses it all the time - she swears by it. I have used it before but don't know if it really works. Don't think it does actually contain alcohol though!

Hi captive dove, yes , the Bach Rescue remedies are made using brandy, and this may be a problem for some people. An alternative way to take them is by dabbing them on the wrist, behind the ears and at the temples – this way the benefit of the remedies may be felt without imbibing alcohol. It can be used for any emergency or stressful event. This is really helpful after a fall, or an argument, before visiting the dentist or taking an examination. The normal way of taking it is to put 4 drops in a glass of water and then to take small, frequent sips. You can also take it straight from the bottle in a real emergency. My nurse I meet swear by it, and secretly and unofficially recommend it for me.

Yeah, it has alcohol in it, but it really works! Seriously! The rescue remedy also comes in a cream form, it hard to find sometimes, but that works as well, on just about any and every ailment from a headache to even acne.

It's a herbal decoction suspended in a weak brandy to preserve it. It's marvellous if you have had a shock, or a fall , or any situation where your heart is pounding, or you are crying. I don't know why it works, but it does seem to.
My son is doing exams at the moment, I got him a little bottle, told him it was for confidence, and he thinks it's "great stuff, whatever is in it!"
Maybe it IS the brandy!!lol

Hi, I used it before I took my driving test and found it to be quite effective but I used another herbal product too which is called contentsia, it is a natural product to help anxiety and nerves so I found that the 2 together worked really well! Well I passed first time and I wasn't nervous at all, and I normally get nervous about everything!

Alcohol is the medium that is used to encompass the flower extracts. I have been using this for many many years, long before it became fashionable and it works for me. I hate flying, I'm really scared of it and I always use it before boarding an aircraft and during flights and it does make me feel less anxious and stressed.
