Would you still keep eating it ? I mean, if the cockroach was whole and unbroken, and it was all piping hot, and it's only a little cockroach... would you ?

Personally, I would be disgusted and not eat it. Most of the time though, you could just pick the thing out and it is completely harmless to eat the food. Whatever bacteria the cockroach has your stomach acids should kill it. Cockroaches generally aren't vectors for human diseases and you can't catch things from it. If you know the place not to have the best hygienic standards however, the cockroach could only be part of the problem and there may be other ickies in your food.

Well, I am somewhat ashamed to admit it, but I think I'd just remove the critter and get on with the food. But that's not what one is supposed to do. Cockroaches are filthy little things, after all, and there are probably millions of germs associated with it. On the other hand, if it is in hot food, chances are the germs have mostly been killed.

Don't think I'd ever go back to the same take-out place after that, though.

I wouldn't eat Indian food to begin with. I'm surprised the cockroach was eating it.
