wanting control over everyone else from sex to smoking in your own home...

That is a general statement. I don't want to control anything except what is effecting me. No you can't smoke in my house but you smoke a pack a day in your car, home or anywhere else. I control when I have sex because it is a choice.

Control freaks are usually afraid because they were hurt or harmed in situations out of their power. To prevent reoccurrences of such pain, they take and keep control.... sometimes in excess.

I'll suppose you took those just for an example right?

control is one of the strongest instincts we have, i think our brain aids it really good.

its not a bad thing in one way "no smoke, no junk food", but horrible in another "if we took control of the food chain, with a bad math!".

sometimes we need to control our "control instinct".

Because it is a scare world . Perhaps this all goes back to our cave existence not only do we fear what we can see but what we imagine too.
as so many people have free floating anxiety they must implement free floating con troll to quieten this neurosis
