I had 1100.00 dollars stolened from me. I found out who did it and called the cops and he denied it. I told him if he did'nt return it i would kick his ***. I went to jail!!! I was released 4 hours later with no charges. The police said that even though i knew he did it there was not enough evidences for him to be arrested, but they tried to charge me for terroistic threat >I was told if i say any thing to him again i would be charged. I actually did'nt commit any crime. Where is my freedom of speech. Also some locals where protesting peacefully outside of portland maines congressman tom allens office and they where arrested for not having a permit. They tried to get one but was turned down. I did'nt know that freedom of speech costed anything. I pay taxes federally, state and county. I don't feel like anybody should have to have a permit or pay for a permit to have a peacefully rally or event as in a protest on public property should not be charge a cent especially if they pay taxes.

unfortunently for you being arrested it was in resonable means, because you used your freedom of speech, you also violated his because you threated his "well being" its a cycle of freedoms, its the same as a Nazi group cant stand outside a Jewish church and preach their deaths, its infringment of rights, leanred about all this junk this year. As far as for those protestors, there are no premitts that entitle you to protest, as long as your not going against that guys rights, your fine, if i were the leader of that group i would bring the case to the supreme court, cause they had no right to arrest you or request permitts, unless there were signs saying no trespassing.

See what happens when your head was buried in the sand. Wait until you see what the Patriot Act did for your right.
