I agree that the patch treatment can really stop you from smoking. What can help with the withdrawals is to take a complete vitamin B complex, twice daily. Smoking depletes the body of all B vitamins, this will put them back and make you feel more energized.
Best wishes.

I quit smoking about 2 months ago. The patch works really well. BUT you have to go through the ENTIRE system. I quit after using it for a week and thought I was fine but nope, went back to smoking. Just keep at it. I've tried the gum but they didn't work. Plus it made my jaw realllly tired. Make a date to quit. Throw out all cigs, including ur secret stash ones. Quit coffee and alcohol if you smoke while drinking. Have pencils, stress balls, rubberbands for ur hands to play with. Have ice, straws, gum, candy, gummy bears, licorice to chew on. And you'll have some strong urges but just remember that if you wait 10 mins, they usually pass. Don't feed that craving. I did jumping jacks realllly fast whenever they came. And the longer you quit, the longer the cravings come. Also inform ppl at work or at home that you are quitting. Tell them u'll be groucy but need their support whenever cravings hit. I also put a rubber band around my wrist and snapped it whenever I had a craving. It's hard but you can do it! You may always have cravings but you have to replace it with something else. Good luck!

All you have to do is think about it if you keep smoking you going to die its that simple. Why pay for Cancer that stupid, and besides you probably could use the money on something more productive. You don't want to die. I used to smoke one or two cigarettes a day.The doctor ask me why I smoked? He said that he had patients come in that smoke 1-2 packs of cigereets a day for help.

I never smoked but I've heard some people say they take the antidepressant Wellbutrin and that it helps to calm the cravings.
