Hold Your head up high. and be proud.
You know it takes more Courage to be a Good person and to stand up for what is right then to give in and do what everyone else is doing.
Maybe you can help them. maybe you could try and talk to them and try to help them see that they DO NOT have to do drugs or drink to have a good life. you MAY already be helping them they may see you as a strong person. and they see you as someone who does NOT care what people think of you. and that might help them try and become a good person also.
Remember keep your head up. and be very proud

I think the people of today are more fragmented than they ever
were. We have a box and label for eveything and everybody.
In the early 70's in high school we had all the same stuff as
today but a more live and let live attitude. Someone didn't
smoke pot, or was a virgin they may have gotten some weird
glances but ususally it was just something like "that's cool,
no problem." Today people feel a need to stand out among
the crowd. You can't make yourself feel good unless you put
everybody else down. If you're put down you develop a martry
complex to make yourself special and separate from the crowd. People and the things they do havn't changed that much over the years, just they're attutdes. We got to reassemble ourselves and our world.
It hurts to say, but, the way the world is today is a result of those same early high schoolers growing up and gaining
political , economic and religious power.

Take pride in the fact they don't talk to you. I'm telling you now, you're a senior, sit back and relax with this, it's gonna be an interesting show watching where these people end up in the next few years. It's sad in a way but it's also true, I promise you that. Don't question yourself, I commend you (for what it's worth) you are one of the few that still have a set of morals. You also know how to weigh actions and consequences, you're already wiser than many adults! But keep it that way, don't get complacent. You're in a good place right now, you don't have to worry about getting hit for drug possession or underage drinking, support for a poor unwanted child, you know, things like that. Also if you meet the right man/woman (sorry, I don't know what you are) you won't have to run off some rap-sheet about your history. Just stay as far away from people who are acting like that as you can, all they can do is drag you down with them. When you are say...10 years down the road, you'll be glad you did things the smarter way, you'll see.

because at this age teens expect these sorts of activitys to be done by every one in order to be cool not realizing its the most uncool thing to ever do. exspecially if some one is not doing so good and is going in the wrong direction they want to take you down with them. the Media is giving certain exceptation to teens that this is what your supose to be doin in high school like its required or something for example rappers. Dont follow along with it your doin the right thing.

It's not a bad thing. Stick to your values. Don't be caught up in peer pressure. Pot and sex will only lead to trouble. I respect you for your decisions and think that you will probably be successful one day for thinking for yourself and not following the "in" crowd.

Outcast here is different from the rest, something to be proud of any day.
To them it is bad to see a good person because you remind them of what they are doing wrong.

In a world full of insecure people, why do they feel they need to ostracize people who are secure with them self?
Because they are insecure, weak and inferior.

Its not honey, its great that you have the ability to think for yourself and you are not a pack animal. You will be a leader of people, not a follower.
