YES.....But it really depends on the laws in your city....My neighbor killed our kitten, and my sister called the police....They came and asked if we wanted to press charges, the neighbor was so scared because he knew he was going to jail....My sister decided not to press charges, she actually felt sorry for the loser....If we would have pressed charges, he WOULD have gone to jail.....I hope your not thinking of killing someone's pet....

Yes, it can get you arrested.

The most obvious way, is that it destroys property owned by the other person, which means you can be charged with larceny.

Also, there are almost certainly laws prohibiting the killing of pets. The laws might even been very old, with very stiff penalties. Pets for a long time were essential to farming operations. Killing a dog, could be a bad offense.

Don't do it.

not sure where you are .. BUT where I live it is ...

and If you are THINKING of killing somebody's pet on purpose .. I hope you take a long walk off a short pier over shark infested waters BEFORE you get the chance...

OR if your pet was killed by somebody on purpose .. please report them to the police... as often people who are cruel to animals can have the same tendencies as some people who commit sex crimes and serial killings

ANYBODY who would deliberately kill somebody else's pet is an ar$ehole.
