Geez, where do I begin? The main thing is he speaks up after the fact. For example, if I make plans with someone in front of him, he won't say the plans won't work until AFTER the person has gone and it's too late to make other arrangements. I wish he would speak up during the fact when it does more good.
He is afraid to stand up for himself and anyone else for that matter. I have tried to get him to use his backbone, but he won't. I don't have a problem standing up for myself.
He hates mingling, and meeting new people. I'm a social butterfly.
He's a nice guy and a great provider, and he's a better Dad to my children than their real Dad, I just wish he were more outspoken and outgoing.

We both work - lots of hours, but we come home at the exact time. He wants to talk to me right away - but I am a manager at a large retailer - I want a break from talking. I just want to lay my pounding head down and pretend that the next generation is not a clueless as the 300+ people I saw that day are making them out to be.

Asks the same question in different forms like my answer is suddenly going to change, then gets upset when I answer loudly.
"do you want to go to a movie?"
"no, not really"
"you don't want to go see a flick?"
"no, I don't"
"Wouldn't you like to see a movie?"
"NO!"
"Why are you yelling at me?"
