it seems like any time someone is talking about marijuana and asking SERIOUS questions on here about it, there is at least one person who leaves the comment like, "stop smoking weed you dumbass and get a job." i guarantee that i am more intelligent, have a better job, and am more productive in my society than 90% of the people in this country, but im some sort of degenerate because i like to relax with marijuna? i get enough **** for smoking it from law enforces, i dont need it from citizens, especially citizens who have never smoked it. (which i would bet dollars against pesos that everyone who leaves those comments has never smoked.) why dont you guys get a life and start answering questions that want your opinion instead of discriminating on something that you have never experienced. alright, im done, i got it off my chest.

Habitual marijuana smokers are just boring people to be around. Today's pot is not the stuff we smoked in the 60's - it's really a different thing - a lot more potent and seems to be much more psychologically addicting. The habitual smokers I knew all never amounted to anything. Never learned to solve life's problems, or learned to face up to the realities of every day - it was easier to get stoned . So they walked around for years with a dumb half smile and with very few exceptions, discovered after 20 years that they had forgotten to do much with their lives. Net result: long term unhappiness, screwed up relationships and ambitions unfulfilled. Very unhappy people - I wouldn't like to see that happen to my friends or my kids. So pal, we're down on it.

Other than the fact that it is illegal (mainly because it would be so hard to regulate), there really is nothing wrong with it, as long as your not driving around blitzed, I don't care. I've experienced, and I liked it. Go light it up, and have a good time, don't worry about the people stalking around an answers board on Saturday night, because their opinions don't matter anyway.

Well, if you're gonna freak out about it, then don't post questions that will make you upset when people answer with their honest opinion. Maybe the reason everybody's on your case is because it is horrible what you do and you being in the top 90% of ALL americans seems a little far fetched. People who smoke marijuana have negative effects on our society. Maybe that's why people get mad.

I've smoked pot. And hated it.
Pot, makes people stupid...you can't deny that.
And being caught smoking pot by law enforcement...doesn't make you smart. ;) lol sorry I had to say it.
You should get used to the cruelty people show you for smoking pot, Pot-Head is what they're going to think you are, a slacker, is the label they will pin you with.
...Don't stick up for pot...stick up for yourself. If you want to smoke pot, that's on you...that's your thing...but this question seems like you're defending pot, more than you are defending yourself. And that's not right. That's not my opinion it's a fact.
If you want to be taken seriously, prove yourself worthy enough to be taken seriously. Don't blame your downfalls on pot either...Not saying you do...just don't.
An intelligent reputation takes time...a respectful reputation takes years to build up...it wont happen over night.

i smoke too and i thinkk exactly that way.....
i hate people that say that we are hurting our families and friends doing it......
and i hate ven more people saying that it hurts me and they have worse grades than mine have less friends or go to fewer parties....
come on my grades are high as always i have the same friends and even more and i continue to go to parties even if theres no pot to smoke.......
i dont even replace hanging out with my friends just to smoke...
so i think smoking pot is dangerous and bad just when it starts to control you...... but if you control it and ONLY smoke pot and not taking other things like cocaine lsd speed some other unnatural ****.. its perfectly ok...
pot is legal in advanced european countries and there no one says anything..... why we must be behind them???
