The Super Food In Wheat
"Wheat germ" is a nutritious super food, rich in vitamin B complex, vitamin E, enzymes, minerals and more.
The "germ" is the most nutritious portion of the wheat kernel and makes up only about 2 1/2 % of its weight. Wheat germ is the reproductive area or embryo from which the seed germinates to form the sprout that becomes the green wheat grass. (The term "germ" comes from the word germinate, and does not refer to "germs" such as bacteria and viruses.)
Wheat germ is great I like to put it in my yogurt.

Whole wheat bread is much better for your health than white bread. Here's why: Because white bread has been processed (to make it white, flour is not naturally white, it is light brown), it breaks down more easily in your stomach. The high content of carbohydrates, historically shown in hunter gatherer groups that have become farmers, in one's diet promotes health problems such as obesity, cavities (in the teeth) and malnutrition. White bread breaks down quickly into sugar (which then turns into fat when not used), has less fiber (to aid digestive functions and slow breaking-down process), and is less nutritious than whole wheat bread. The bleaching process of the flour takes away many vitamins and minerals usually found in darker varieties of bread. Keep eating the whole wheat bread.
