i kno there are some things that you cant do in xp home, that you can in xp pro, is setting up a personal webserver one of them??

I do not believe that XP home has the controls for web server but If you have the space I do believe that there are some programs that you can use to make a server out of an XP machine. Open Source software like apache may work it is a matter of finding the right program to run. Servers are in a different class than regular Operating Systems.

I had the personal web server setup under xp home , I hated it so I switched to apache and have been very happy with it. There is a full WAMP package to setup Apache, MySql and PHP all at one time.
