WE as in humans? No. But we have sent a lot of crafts to explore.

No man has set foot yet on mars. NASA did initiate a program to change that but it was subsequently abandoned due to lack of funding.

But machines have landed on mars and are currently exploring the martian terrain. The vehicles on mars are known as Mars rover.

As yet there have been no humans on Mars except in some great science fiction books and movies! There are robotic rovers traveling around there though and manned exploration is something on the drawing boards for someday in the future.

Yes, the U.S. and Europe landed some recreational vehicles on mars quite some time ago.

Well yeah we have, otherwise we wouldn't know the surface, topography, etc.
They've always been probes or rovers though, when they have 'landed', or satellite pictures.
I heard they're trying to send humans, but it's a 3-year journey or something, I believe.
