I've never had a turtle, but as far as hermit crabs and fish, it all depends on the individual and it's care. I have horrible luck with hermit crabs. I had gone through 5 before my brother went through 1. (they would die about every other week, but then, I was only in elementry I doubt i was taking the best care of them) But fish can last for a long time, I've had 2 albino cory cats for 3 months now and they're doing fine! I think that it's all in the care you provide and the health of the pet you buy.

Depends

Hermit crabs can live for like 20-30 yrs. My boss has seen a 45 yr old hermit crab at a trade show before. Hermit crabs are pretty high maintenance and people who think they are cheap and easy and dont want to spend the money and time on properly caring for the hermit crabs are disgusting and need to be banned from owning pets.

Turtles are also high maitenance and some tortoises can live for like 100 yrs or more. Most turtle species live for like 50-70 yrs. Alot unfortunately live for alot less because people dont bother to research about them and dont properly care for them.

As for fish, there is a lot of care that goes into taking care of fish. On average tetras live for about 7 yrs, livebearers such as mollies platies guppies swordtails live about 2-3 yrs. Goldfish can live to 30 yrs but most dont make it to the age of 2 because people are idiots and stuff them in bowls and tiny tanks. Goldfish are dirty high maitenance fish and in my opinion the most neglected, and abused pet in america, possibly the world. There was this guy that came in to where i worked that had a 25 yr old female oscar. The lungfish can live like 100 yrs, and koi can live for 100. The oldest koi was traced back through this family tree and he was 200 something yrs old.

The best place for hermit crabs would be a terrarium. They need 1 inch high of wet sand. Add some grains of salt to the sand at the beginning. And remember that the crab will have to change the shells some times.

most hermit crabs die in a few years because people dont take proper care of them. They are very high maintenance pets even more so then turtles.

it depends on the breeds of each though

Neither hermit crabs nor turtles are 'quick, easy, low maintenance' pets. For example, a decent turtle set-up will run you about $150!
