Call the farmer, let him know that his cows are loose. Then offer to help if he'll share the milk or beef with you. We had to herd cows as kids and there were several of us so some would be positioned in spots where the cows would like to get away and we yelled at them and carried sticks. Oh yes we also had a border collie dog named Mutt who was an excellent herding dog.

Ask them nicely if they would like to play door bell ditch on the farmers house. They seem to get a kick out of it on the commercial. You know: Only happy cows live in California!

your problem is not unknown to me...we had i situation along the same lines a few years back...hearding the beasts back home isn,t very hard, but is time consuming, and a bore...photogragh your efforts, or video it, then inform your bad farmer that critters traveling to your private space will hence forth become food.. good luck

I really love Robzilla's idea but if that doesn't work, put on a cowboy hat and boots and then start singing some whiney country music. That should get attention!
