it itches the first time you shave anywhere. it goes away with time. it's good to use lotion daily on areas that are shaved to keep skin softer and cause less irritation.

I think i started growing some chest hair around 15, and it was to the point it's at now (i'm 27) at around 17 or 18. I'm not that hairy, but i have some stomach and chest hair.

This is not an answer but a statement. I shave my chest hairs so that I don't smell as much of body odour because sweat sticks to body hair and makes the smell worse, I have to admit, it itches like hell.

yeah thats pretty normal but it usually doesnt continue to be that way after youve done it for a while, is it possable he has some hair clippings in his shirt? i shave my chest and my head and ive found that if i dont take a shower after ill be itchy for sure. i like the idea of trimming though i never thought of that! i like having hair there but it gets to long haha your mans brilliant! ill have to try it hehe

Tell your friend to stop messing with his hair. Body hair is normal for an adults, so tell him to grow up and accept the fact that he's going to have body hair the rest of his life. Trying to look like a kid when you're a man is kind of sick.

That's because the ends are no longer tapered but cut and just have a sharper more pronounced end which irritates the skin
