I loved my wife when she married me and I loved my wife when she divorced me and I loved my wife when she begged me to take her back and I loved my wife until the day she died. Now I miss her.

Well, I cried, but it was out of relief, it had been a long draw out ordeal, no children involved, unless you count my ex-husband as a child. I felt like the world had been lifted off of my shoulders.
I got a bottle of white shoe polish and wrote "Just Divorced" on my truck windows and drove around town honking my horn, including taking a spin through the parking lot of my ex's place of business. It felt really good in a "trailer-trash" kind of way. That was eleven years ago. I have since remarried, and have a new standard of tolerance (low), and have a much better life.

Sure it is, you loved her for a long time right? I hate to hear your wife left you like that. But, you were right to let her go. In time, you will feel better about it, and realize it was for the best. Give it some time.

That's pretty sick and sad. I am sorry that this happened to you. And yes it's normal for you to feel this way. Hopefully you will be able to move on and meet the right person for you. n

You just need to give it some time. You lost someone you loved even if she cheated on you it is still hard to get over. Take your time- don't be in any rush to date again. Spend some time on yourself.

I had a wonderful lobster dinner with wine and a slice of "death by chocolate" cake and celebrated with friends.
